Horrifyingly enough, I think you're probably right. Every 18 year old guy I've spoken with has proclaimed the intention of "coming out" to the draft board in a heartbeat should his number get pulled up for selective service.
Gee, what -would- they do if 90% of the guys turning up for the draft were claiming to be gay? Why do away with "don't ask, don't tell" of course.

I wonder what the odds are that they would draft women first, before allowing gays into the military?

Then again, I can almost see Republicans suddenly deciding that current military recruitment and exclusion policy unfairly protects homosexuals from death and terror.
