Another "great" thing about living in New England? You get to see tomorrow's weather creating all kinds of havoc in the middle of the US today.

Edit. Except when tomorrow's weather is a Nor'easter.

One thing I found amusing, they described the sound of trees shedding ice-laden limbs like the sound of gunfire. I used to think of gunfire as sounding like trees shedding ice-laden limbs.

And there are THREE events being sponsored by my office (and the powers-that-be refuse to cancel any of them) so there's no frakking way I can work from home tomorrow. So yippee, the yaktraks and I will be heading out into the snowstorm tomorrow morning (and home in the ice storm, hence the need for the yaktraks).

I'm guessing you'll be doing the same? :/
