Those two are Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul. Who wouldn't love to see these two team up for a presidential run?

Cheney will get away with it. At this point I've lost any hope that the Democrats in congress will do anything but verbally scold the Bush Administration.

The Democrats will scold Cheney to precisely the extent that it will score them political points. Then they'll cave and wring their hands and say, "But what could we do?" Beyond that, i expect no changes to the status quo whatsoever.

I love Kucinich and I love Ron Paul. He's what a conservative is actually supposed to be.

I have mixed feelings about Ron Paul. He is anti-queer and not particularly pro-woman, but at the same time he has earned my respect for speaking truthfully about Iraq, and for not just talking about civil liberties but voting for them too. Too many of the politicians on both sides of the aisle have made a habit in recent years of talking one way and voting another. He's in my list of "we could do much worse than have him as president" candidates and is the only Republican i wouldn't cry about if he won.
