Leftist bloggers might have potty mouths, but at least we don't repeatedly, again and again and again, call for the violent death of people who disagree with us or point out inconvenient facts. (Thanks to Shakespeare's Sister.)

I disagree. I call for executions all the time. Right wing bastards never are forced to pay for their crimes. Until that stops, we will see more and more of it. I do, however, feel the executions should be done after a fair trail & carried out by the government, rather than by a mob.

Date: 2007-03-14 10:30 pm (UTC)Ah, but you call for the execution of people who are in power and exercising control. The rightist bloggers just want a wholesale slaughter of anyone who doesn't think like them. For example, I've never heard you suggest that all the Christians who descend on Jackson Square each Mardi Gras should be mowed down in a hail of bullets, but it's perfectly acceptable for right-wing pundits to say that gays, Muslims, etc. should meet that fate merely for who the are or what they believe.

Lectures would be academic, not religious in nature."
