Well, blah, yes. But needed. I went over a decade without going to a dentist. I've been making up for it this year: no less than 6 visits. Most of the essential stuff is done now. I wanted to get some of my health issues out of the way while it was certain that i had insurance to cover most of the cost.
My job is scheduled to end in April, and though it's been extended twice now, i can't count on my full-time benefitted employment extending beyond that.
I just realized that you have the same Birthday as our Adam. His boy frien took him and a few other things to Cafe Japengo (a slightly pretensious Sushi Bar/Pacific Rim Cusine Place in the Golden Triangle...but they do have good Sushi), then partied him out when he got to the Cat Cave with Bluetinis and Beer and Cake. It sounds like your B-day was just as festive.
