I just discovered by Googling my page, that my webpage has won an award. Maybe I got an email about this at some point and deleted it accidentally thinking it was spam. In any case, cool!

I've been putting some thought into updating and revamping this page a bit. I know it doesn't have much in the way of pizzazz and graphics; I might focus some attention on this, but I prefer to spend my time focusing on content and avoiding flashy stuff as much as possible. (OTOH, if I jazz it up a bit, I can show it off on my resume...)

Might as well make this open-mike and ask if anyone has any suggestions, WRT content and/or presentation?

Beautiful, sage advice. I agree completely. I gave in to convention somewhat in making a background and setting a color scheme, but that's as fancy as I've let myself get and keep the site design spartan...

Guess it looks like I get to ask LJ support what the heck is up. It's correct in the code, LJ is messing it up though.

I was told by LJ that all AOL links come up now as FTP links. Imagine that.
