I doubt few people are really cut out for programming. Many of the programmers I've met were close to total burnout less than five years into the profession.

I don't see where they get the idea that Martin Luther King or Gandhi were concerned with the meaning of life. They both seemed to have had more immediate problems on their hands. I'm wary of anyone who classifies them with Plato and Socrates.

I think Martin Luther King, Jr., and Gandhi were very concerned with the meaning of life, but they had very practical ideas about what that meaning was (such as opposing injustice).
