Let's hear iit for Mahmoud Abbas. A man who was willing, for almost four months of what must have been sheer hell, to take on a task everyone knew from the start was impossible. Abu Mizen, I salute you.
I genrally don't follow it because the whole situation usually goes like this: Israel says it will make peace plan with Palestinians - negotiations begin - Israel says it will start treating Palestinians a litte more like human beings - Israel moves more people into Palestine anyway - Fed up Radical Palestinians bomb Israelis again - Israel kills three times as many Palestinians in return - Repeat
And quite frankly, the whole thing seems pointless and sickening.
