Actually I need to check, does the phrase "Tabloid Journalism" have meaning in the States? Wasn't sure if you made the distinction between tabloid and broadsheet newspapers like we do.

Oh yes.

Interestingly the first target of the anthrax letter attacks in October 2001 was a tabloid newspaper in Boca Raton, FL. So as you can see they have their detractors here, too.

I look there fairly reguarly, so I'll let you know. I've never actually been on the site, but they posted a couple threads on masculist's LJ that I contributed to the drama on, so I feel some degree of fame. ;)
