Discussing biblical semantics has never been an interest of mine. It is my belief that different people use the same word to describe different phenomena, and one person may use the same word to mean entirely different things, depending upon their mood. And (to paraphrase Betrand Russel) we each contain contradictions because we are so internally vast.
So trying to figure out what various dead guys might have meant by their obtuse language jus never appealed to me.
But then, others have wondered what I ever got out of Qabalah. So I sure cannot knock any passtimes which others find fruitful.

I think people misinterpreted this post -- I wasn't trying to goad people who otherwise would not be interested in Biblical stuff into reading the post -- just those on my friends list who are.
But then, others have wondered what I ever got out of Qabalah.
To an extent, that is very similar to the kind of benefit I have been getting from this kind of textual analysis.
