I have mixed feelings about Ron Paul. He is anti-queer and not particularly pro-woman, but at the same time he has earned my respect for speaking truthfully about Iraq, and for not just talking about civil liberties but voting for them too. Too many of the politicians on both sides of the aisle have made a habit in recent years of talking one way and voting another. He's in my list of "we could do much worse than have him as president" candidates and is the only Republican i wouldn't cry about if he won.
