Very measured words coming from someone who encompasses several different camps of societal privilege.
I do understand your point in regards to things festering underground - but I argue that they are doing that regardless. There are plenty of nasty things spoken behind closed doors without laws in place to chase them there.

And pointing fingers with labels such as "sinners" reflects open dialog in what way exactly?
I am in no way condemning christianity or asking for it to be outlawed - however I am asking that we openly talk about some things that can not hide behind the shield of "faith".
