And deep down, determination. The trick is reminding ourselves to not let that become inflexible stubbornness, and to not let the anger tun into defensiveness or hatred. It's a delicate balancing act, and I frequently ponder how I can better present myself/make myself visible without being either (a) a doormat or (b) offensive/triggering.
