I heard something about the city council taking up the issue of finally repealing the "no Indians in Boston" law. Maybe that will inspire the Commonwealth to get rid of the old law it has which was directed at anti-miscegenation.
lady_babalon has suggested that what we are seeing now in Thelema is the formation of an orthodoxy in a way very analogous to what happened in the early Christian church. I'm strongly inclined to agree; the further away an esoteric system gets in time from its source, the more the esoteric current is diluted and has to be replaced by book-learning and reliance on orthodoxy. Plus, it is in the interest of any religious-service guild to do what they can to develop a monopoly on their product.
