A conversation with lady_babalon and secret_willow made me wonder how many people the average LJer has been friended by. This is hardly scientific, but I am curious...

Where it says "friend of," read that to mean "mutual friends" + "also friended by."

very interesting. i've always wondered what the critical mass is before the friend of numbers accelerate into the stratosphere.

just curious: how many ljers do you communicate with through these pages on a daily basis.

my daughter and i were talking about this, because she thinks i'm an lj addict. i communicate with 4 of my friends on an almost daily basis.

My old photojournal got up to about 570 -- but of those, maybe 30 ever actually commented, and 500 of them were empty, unused journals only used for joining nudie communities.
