Dec. 11th, 2009 02:38 pmThe White House is fighting an amendment to health care reform that would allow the reimportation of drugs from Canada and Mexico, a measure that would save Americans $80 Billion over a decade. President Obama still publically says he supports reimportation.
A loophole appeared "mysteriously" in the Senate health care bill that would allow health insurance companies to place an annual cap on benefits. This is potentially ruinous or even lethal to patients with cancer & other serious illness.
The US House rejected an amendment to finance reform that would have enabled judges to renegotiate the terms of a mortgage and therefore help more people stay in their homes.
