As part of an international Transgender Day of Remembrance being observed in many locations around the world, a candlelight vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Lesbian and Gay Community Center of New Orleans, 2114 Decatur Street (between Frenchman and Elysian Fields). This will include a candlelight procession from the community center to the Joan of Arc monument. The public is invited.
