This weekend akaiyume and I were debating the relative virtues of various '80's musical artists. One of the ones she refused to admit had any redeeming values was Pet Shop Boys. Now, I admit that not everyone would or should like their musical style. But I feel strongly that they do indeed have redeeming qualities, especially some of their lyrics... some of which cut to the bone.

I'm kind of disappointed that my post in electric_chair has gotten no response at all. I think the topic is an important one.

It's funny how trends and currents seem to ripple and echo throughout LJ. Today I've been witness to a few heartwrenching dramas, played out here. Hugs to all of you, okay?

Occasionally I will post from a friend's computer while visiting his/her apartment.

I just learned this evening that I fell victim again to the Mozilla "neverending LJ login cookie" bug when this friend attempted to post on a rather delicate matter -- to their journal of course -- and Mozilla grabbed my login and posted the entry to my journal instead. The error was quickly corrected... but it was recommended that I should mention the incident just in case any posts appeared briefly in my journal last night that seemed out of character for me...
