point of clairification

I feel compelled, for the sake of clarity, to point out that the declarations at the end of this post from earlier in the week do not represent a change in my beliefs. These are things I have believed, er, not believed, for quite some time. But I stated them because I wanted to explain explicitly the kinds of beliefs and ideas separate me from the body of Christianity as a whole.

It's been a while since I posted anything from Anthony de Mello.

The seeker approached the disciple and asked respectfully, "What is the meaning of human life?"

The disciple consulted the works of his Master and confidently replied, "Human life is nothing but the expression of God's exuberance."

When the seeker addressed the Master himself with the same question, the Master said, "I do not know."
