Five things you may not know about me (from several of you):

1. I've attended four different universities: UT-Austin, UNC-Asheville, Florida Atlantic University, and UT-Arlington. At various times I majored in Linguistics, Social Psychology, Mathematics, and City Planning.

2. I have never owned a CD player or DVD player (unless you count the CD-ROM drive in my PC).

3. I've played drums since I was 15.

4. I have been engaged to be married twice, both times with women I met in North Carolina.

5. I used to have a problem with anger control. Now it is rare for me to be angry.

I am this close today to renouncing all connection to Christianity in any form whatsoever.

Next on the list, in no particular order, are Taoism and Buddhism.

My sense of panic is rising and I just feel really adrift. So I know that I shouldn't do anything rash.

But the more I examine things, the less I understand what it is that Christianity teaches at even the most basic level. The conclusions I come to, the only sense I can make of things, doesn't resemble Christianity in the least. I've examined these things pretty darn closely and even dared to think I had started to make sense of things.
