Just returned from the high priest doctor, who confirmed that what I have is, indeed, chicenpox. Since it is a virus there is little that can be done for it; however I now have these little round white antihistamine (Atarax) tablets that say, promisingly, "may cause drowsiness."

He also said that any major complications (such as pneumonia) would have shown up by now.
