Line of the week. From Enterprise aired last night:

Dr. Phlox is assisting Lt. Reed with physical therapy on his injured legs. Lt. Reed complains, "I thought doctors weren't allowed to hurt their patients."

Dr. Phlox responds with, ( drumroll please )

Enterprise is different from the other Star Trek series in many respects. IMO it has a few limitations so far but it has the potential to be the best of all of the series. The characters seem more real, less stylized. And Dr. Phlox is one of the most interesting characters in any of the series.

Then there's the theme music.

A while back I posted a poem in a locked entry that alobar wanted to be able to link to. In response to that request (not sure why it is on my mind this morning) I am going to post the version of it that was published online, as well as another piece of erotic poetry published along with it. (Alas, Jamie Joy's page is still down!)

Revealing these things in this journal is a big step for me.
