Aw man! If I'd known that was going to happen I could have created a bunch and sold them off cheaply after the switch. (No, not really. That is, I could have, but I wouldn't have. But it's always the sort of thought that runs through my mind upon hearing something like this.)

The hope is that we can convince them to at least let existing users, esp. if they are paid users, to create new basic accounts. I doubt they'll go for it though, since it would be too easy for a paid user to make a new account for someone else.
