If you don't mind the mind-boggling amount of chain letters. Sure. If you don't mind annoying comments like 'You've been hit by the SeXor Truck! Quick, pass this onto 50 of your friends to prove you like them!' then go for it. If you don't mind obscure piddling little bands constantly trying to friend you, it's great. If you don't mind "features" that are constantly broken or under repair, sign up! If you don't mind being a pawn of Rupert Murdock, then get an account.
I find that most people don't really blog all that much on it. They just use it to leave annoying comments on people's profiles, post ridiculous pictures of themselves or spam.
The only really useful thing that I've found is the ability to snoop on other people. It seems like *everyone* has a myspace profile. I've found a good amount of people I went to highschool with.

Ha-ha! I have had about three or four of those, and I never even use my account.
