nearly mindless entertainment

StarCraft is slowly working its way under my skin. At the very least, it is very good for teaching you how not to panic under suddenly stressful conditions.

"Okay, three of my Battlecruisers are 'locked down' and taking a pounding. All my Wraiths are gone. Don't panic. Add more to build queue. Now, collect support troops into Dropships and ferry them over there. In time. Don't panic. Nuclear launch detected? Where? Where? Found it. Move troops away from doomed structures. Well, shucks, there goes the last Battlecruiser. I *think* I have enough resources to recover..."

i'm definitely a zerg girl. though they have one glaring disadvantage (all biological), the theme of insectoid filth is just near and dear to my heart. and kerrigan is GOD.

Heh. Sometimes its hard to listen to, but I dig the squicky crackly carapace-splitting sounds when units mutate or eggs hatch.
