Is there still room on Argent Dawn? I have heard from [livejournal.com profile] lady_babalon about long waits to log into that server. I would muchly like to join y'all's guild...

It's a cyclical thing - I suspect lots of semi-dormant players are getting more active because of the new areas opening up in game, so the prime-time queues on AD can sometimes be daunting. But I just start it up, go putter around the house for 15 minutes, and eventually get in. :) It's mainly weekday prime-time evenings that are the worst, queue-wise, but weekends seem better.

Do you and Lady B share an account or a computer? 'Cause if not, and you're networked and can be on at the same time, the Velvet Claw Gnome Posse on Scarlet Crusade is always looking for gnew gnomegrrls too.

We have separate accounts, and now, after the acquisition of Fronkensteen, i can play WoW on my own computer. My Lady told me about the gnome posse, and i was wondering what character class and abilities would be of most benefit to the posse if i tagged along?

Well, we could use a healer but gnomes can't do that - which is part of the challenge. :) There's a mage but she doesn't show up all the time, so that might be good. Another warrior is always useful. The Posse is rogue-heavy but personally I think that's fine. We've had all-rogue groupings sometimes and it seems to work ok everywhere but dungeons (where ya really want a tank and some spellcasters to thin the herds).

Also, unlike Horde Posse which is usually sparsely attended, we've had 6-7 players at a time in Gnome Posse before and since only 5 can group in a party, we could be growing to where two groups are playing at once, at which point pretty much any class is gonna be ok.

Full doesn't mean you can't make another character on there. Just means there are a lot of players on during that time. It's during prime time - after work/school hours Pacific time - that you get the long waits. In the mornings and afternoon on the weekend there is no wait at all.
