My shopping trip last night officially marked my rededication to low carb.
I'm craving sugar now pretty heavily. Sugar! I must be strong and persevere. The downside to low-carb eating is that cheating is an absolute no-no, especially in the early days. It throws everything off for hours, if not the whole day.

I know the truth of what you're saying; after a time, regular food starts to taste better, and sugary things seem almost intolerably sweet -- so it is not so hard to stay away from them, if one stays "off the horse."
