high hells.

The heels are coming OFF. I've never been a fan of high heels, which puts me in a distinct minority among the CDs I've talked to. They look nice, though, I can't deny that. I usually consider them strictly bedroom wear.

I cheated a bit. I fell asleep with makeup on last night, and woke up four hours later to see that it still didn't look all that bad. Didn't need to shave, either. Plus I was almost out of foundation. So... I did a quick fix-it. In retrospect this was a bad idea. The makeup is starting to look like bondo now. A total overhaul will be necessary before this evening.

PS. James was dressed again like Chef from South Park last night.

Heels are REALLY BAD FOR YOUR KNEES.

Oh, and I really want to preserve my knees, trust me.

Um, 'cause they're useful for walking. And stuff. Um.

hello, you responded to a post I made on poly once upon a time

I saw your remark on the game show thing and decided to have a peek at your LJ. This entry did make me chuckle.

I used to sort-of like heels. Guess it was the totally different presentation they gave, seeing as how my basic nature is firmly rooted in shoeless wildman and heels & hoisery is about 180 degrees from that.

Thanks for the humor and also for making me reflect on the past a bit. I'm not a polyamorist any longer, by the way...

Welcome to my journal!

Actually I can understand that entirely.

It's not for everyone. I'll be the first to admit that.

I could still be a polyamorist, of that I have no doubt, it's just that transition has made me want to spend more time with my family, and I am very very wary of finding a lover who wouldn't need educating about the whole trans thing, and perhaps wouldn't ever get it.

Too much work for a nebulous degree of satisfaction.

I'd like to keep reading your journal and might pop in now and then to comment.

Or we could make it easy and friend one another. :) We seem to have a few interests in common.
