I know that I made you feel that i thought you were puposefully leading people away from the truth. I have to admit that I did think that. I know you are challenging the Bible because you want to be able to reconcile things in your own mind. Challenging God is just the place to do that. I'm sorry I was offended at your questions. Obviously, I take the Bible very seriously. I don't hate you. Perhaps I should have taken the time to get to know you better before making a judgement call. Your posts rubbed me the wrong way. I am also sorry that I could never give you satisfactory answers to your questions. I hope that you can forgive me. We definitely think differently. I'm still learning and growing and becoming who God wants me to be. I suspect it'll be that way until i'm buried. Blessings.

Hello. Apology accepted. :)

There was one thing I felt I should clarify. When I asked why you were in [livejournal.com profile] challenging_god, my question wasn't meant as an insult. Rather, I asked because to be able to weather religious debate, you have to have pretty thick skin. My skin is pretty thick -- by the time I told you I'd gotten over any hurt, it was really true.

In America, people who are outside of mainstream Christianity probably have a bit of an advantage in this regard -- we are used to having our views challenged very rigorously.

Anyway, no hard feelings. Peace.
