There was one thing I felt I should clarify. When I asked why you were in challenging_god, my question wasn't meant as an insult. Rather, I asked because to be able to weather religious debate, you have to have pretty thick skin. My skin is pretty thick -- by the time I told you I'd gotten over any hurt, it was really true.

In America, people who are outside of mainstream Christianity probably have a bit of an advantage in this regard -- we are used to having our views challenged very rigorously.
