Well, today's been fun. ::snicker::

akaiyume and being introduced to Neopets I was stricken rather suddenly by what I thought was surely the worst migraine to whollop me in some time. After rushing home I was able to head the headache off at the pass, by laying in the dark and applying ice to my forehead. (I'm fairly certain, though not entirely unconvinced, that the headache had nothing to do with Neopets. ::grin::)
When I awoke this morning I felt fine, if groggy, while getting dressed and heading out the door. About fifteen minutes into my commute, however, I turned around, feeling suddenly nauseous and groggy.
It was the flu. Or at least that 48-hour creeping crud I had earlier in the year and that seems to be making the rounds again. So I spent the day sleeping, observing interesting fever dreams -- one of which involvedseraphimsigrist as the owner of a Chinese restaurant and bed-and-breakfast with vaguely Middle Eastern decor. seraphimsigrist's mentor Fr. Men, whom he has mentioned from time to time, was staying at the B&B. (Who knows why these things come up in dreams? I know of Fr. Men only through what descriptions seraphimsigrist has given us of him.)
This evening I feel much better. I was unable to eat or keep anything down until half an hour ago.
