To set the record straight: the story many of you saw recently about Iran forcing non-Muslims to wear identifying patches is not true and has been retracted by the Canadian newspaper that originally ran the story.

Iran has enough Zoroastrians that they would get their own color? I would not have guessed that.

The story itself, had it been true, woudl have been much more shocking, of course. It seems like I saw this same thing come up in Iran a couple fo years ago, too. It gets suggested in the parliment/legislature/whatever and then promptly gets shot down and someone in the international press runs with it......
