In my experience, *all* witnesses are innacurate to some degree. Plus, I have found amazing kernals of truth spoken by madmen and liars. Add to this that some people lie about some things, just so they will be dismissed by the masses -- thus enabling them to speak openly of that which they desire to remain hidden.
