Let me make it clear, that I am not criticizing the Roman Catholic church specifically. This was why I titled the post "religious gender elitism," and I note that among the many protesters, one of the ones featured was a Catholic nun.

What I am criticizing is not solely a Catholic or even a Christian point of view.
