As you are aware, I feel the medical "profession" (I use that term very loosly here as I do not think these people are professional in the least bit) cause far more harm than good. If you are not taking a *large* daily vitamin supplement, I'd suggest start taking a good powerful multi-vitamin plus additional daily B-6 supplementation (100-200 mg a day total between the multivitamin & the B-6). No instant relief, but it may undue some damage over a few months. Don't take B-6 without the multi-vitamin.

Eating spinach daily can assist with pain managment better than many NSAIDs and do not damage the liver or kidneys the way NSAIDs do. Bromelin (pineapple) and ginger are both anti-inflamatory as well.

Cutting out most carbohydrates (particularly sugar and flour) & the wretched seed oils (olive & coconut are fine, trash the rest) from diet may help a lot as well.

Arnica (in homeopathic dose) works for some on inflammation. Try to get homeopathic dilution. Strongly concentrated arnica is not nearly as effective as homeopathic.
